Nagsaza Cove Zambales

At least twice a year, EPSON Australia go out for a team building and this time, its in Zambales, in Nagsaza cove, about half an hour farther than Anawangin Cove from Brgy. Pundaquit.

About 3 to 4 hours travel from Manila taking NLEX, then subic, you will reach Brgy Pundaquit in San Antonio Zambales, the gateway to several beautiful coves known to beach bums, travelers and outdoor enthusiasts. Nagsaza is the third cove coming from Pundaquit beach, Anawangin being the first one, Talisayin, is the second, and the last and by far the biggest cove is the Silangin Cove which may take 2 hours boat ride.

This is my second time here in Nagsaza, the first time was on January of 2012 where we had a prenup shoot. With that said, I'll be posting some of our photos below so please bear with me, this is my page anyway, so there's nothing you can do with that, lol.                 

               

               

For those who are planning to visit Nagsaza Cove, you can contact Ka Eddie, (09105913170) a trusted boatman who assisted us every time we visit the coves, we've been to Silangin and Anawangin Cove, Capones and Camara Islands, and Ka Eddie has been very helpful and kind enough to accommodate us, probably the reason why we kept going back. You can arrange an over night stay since he can include in the package the tents, depending on how many you are in the group. He also lends his cooking materials if needed. Just make sure you give him a heads up prior to going there.

        

Best time to visit the place is summer, of course, although you can still go there during the rainy season, but you need to coordinate with your boatman at least 3 days before going there. They will decide for you whether to push thru or not depending on the weather condition. Depending on the tide and the season, waves in that side of the island can be very nasty and dangerous. It is advisable that you arrange a boat at least one week prior because some boatman will refuse to take you to any cove if its too late in the afternoon. Waves in the afternoon are too big for small fishing boats that you will have to look for a larger one which doesn't make sense if you are only 3-5 in the group. My second time there was on August 2013, while a thunderstorm was pounding Manila, thanks God we still had a good weather during our stay.
